Rast Sound releases Ice Element free sample library (Kontakt & Wav) - Dec 26, 2022

Rast Sound has announced the release of a new sample library inspired by the arctic winter of Antarctica and similar regions with landmass ice.

Available for free as a Christmas gift for a limited time, Ice Element is a unique library that combines field recordings, designed instruments and patterns.

With solo instruments, patterns, long recordings & soundscapes, Ice Element offers you a library and an engine that helps you combine, preview and play presets easily. Ice Element offers multi-sample solo sound design instruments, patterns and ambiences which are designed to easily compose tracks with an icey mood.

The Kontakt engine we built for Ice Element is simple yet inspiring. It can play you the presets with Auto Play function, offers 2 menus to select solo instruments and ambiences, patterns separately which can be played together afterwards. One fun gesture is that each time a preset changes, the graphics change to another amazing image background. Cycle Rate and Cycle Amount are fancier names for LFO parameters to help create movement where Modulate button further fluctuates the rate to create rare movements.

The sample library is available is Kontakt (full version) and Wav formats.
