I thought they were the minimum prerequisite for the sister site?

I wanted to download a rare release and there were only one post with few hosts available and 3 of them are already dead. There were two choices left: Turbobit and Rapidgator. Since Turbobit was cheaper I went that way and purchased a turbobit account. The release is a 30 part download. I downloaded all 29 parts but unfortunately part22 is deleted from turbobit. (Downloaders' nightmare). Just one part missing drives me crazy. There is only one alive alternative currently which is rapidgator.

The file size iz 865Mb. I wanted to download it as free but the free limit is reduced to 400mb for some strange reason. I really cannot justify to buy a second account just for this download of one part left. I'm also so afraid that if this link dies my whole attempt and purchase of the other host will also be wasted.

Could you possibly help me download this part only in some way. Or route me towards a member who could help so I can P.M them. I'll really appreciate it. Many thanks in advance.

The reason we put files as less than the limit is so that free accounts can download it!

Thanks for the fast response. I'm a newbie so there is a deep learning curve for me in all aspects. I wasn't aware that there was a thing called "register as a free member" so tried it immediately. BUt Rapidgator wouldn't let me download in any way. There is a cap of 400Mb for all free downloads. Since my download is 865mb I still can't download.

Yes, that is what is stated in the rules.
However, having uploaded a few things myself, I've seen that the rules are a bit more flexible. I always upload my files in MEGA, and I've seen that when my post appears after approval, there are always official "sister site" mirrors on UL and RG added by PiRAT. That's great for someone who wants to share but doesn't have access to premium UL or RG!

 

You don't need a Premium account to upload and share to UL and RG. You can do it with a FREE account, and I advise you.

PS: And I eagerly await your REPACKS which are great, at least the pianos REGARDS

 

Thanks! My main reason for not using UL is that my ISP has blocked it, so I'd have to use VPNs and sacrifice upload speeds.

EDIT 2: apparently RG is changing things in the backend, since I was able to replicate daily downloads limit after downloading just one 700MB file on few computers in different locations/IPs

It wasn't my intention to do so at all. If it came across as that, apologies.
I just stated that PiRAT is kind enough to add the necessary mirrors himself when the poster can't do so.

 

As someone who pay's monthly for the alldebrid service and has done for the past 5 years, I get problems with Rapidgator all the time especially with large files (500MB and over). Using Jdownloader as my main download manager Rapidgator alot of times does not download and you may have to wait an hour or two before it downloads at full speed. I know that it is capped at 100000 Mb / day but the service 8 out of 10 times does not download straight away and is really annoying.

 

Real-debrid has no limits and you should try internet download manager, you can get a free copy on youtube.
