Radiohead appears to be slowly fading from the internet

Something strange is happening with Radiohead. You could probably write that sentence at almost any time and it would be true, but, as Pitchfork points out, today the band has started erasing everything from their website, Facebook, and Twitter. No tweets, no cover images, no profile pictures, an empty Facebook page. Thom Yorke has also deleted all of his tweets. Their web presence hasn't entirely evaporated though — their music can still be found on YouTube.

Radiohead itself seems to have been disappearing over the past five years or so. The last couple of albums sounded like they were made by one guy on a laptop; the songs were more like musical-verbal "pieces." It's felt like witnessing artistic entropy.

 

Who are Radiohead? And where do they come from?

 

These guys made it in 92/93 with Creep,however few people know they ripped off a hit song from the 70s "The air that i breathe" from the Hollies.There was a lawsuit and the song now credits Hammond and Hazlewood as co-writers.
They struck a good deal unlike The Verve which lost all royalties on court when Rolling Stones sued them,for the bitter sweet symphony which was a massive hit song in the late 90s.

 

They are wrapping it up, tidying up loose and sloppy edges in preparation for this next and highly scary US election in the event that the Republican front runner actually wins the election. Their ship is in synchronous orbit with our planet, camouflaged behind asteroid debris in a secret location somewhere between Mars and Jupiter and blind to Vatican astro-physicists constantly probing the bounds of the universe searching for xxxxxxxx (I cannot write or utter the word lest I be assassinated). The Band has also busy been shipping their instruments and recording equipment to the ship in anticipation for their leaving, hence the "sound" of their last musical endeavors stevitch talks about. I wish it wasn't so, but information that I have been receiving from secret under cover Rolling Stone operatives indicates that the coming of The Trump will usher in what biblical scholars have labeled "the musical end times", one where Trump will initiate a subscription only software vst instrument and plugin scheme and poor musicians will not stand a chance at having any tools at all. When Trump decried at his rally in Indiana this past weekend, "I love poor musicians, they are some of the best people, I even golf with some of the poorest of them", I knew that the underground sharing community was to come under a full scale attack the moment he would be sworn into office. Duck and cover brothers and sisters, duck and cover! I only wish that I had Radiohead's vast resources to enable me, my family and band be safe, far off in another galaxy and free to make music that tells the truth.

 

Nothing wrong with "borrowing", I nicked my two latest tunes off of Prince ... Rasberry Beret (GCDG) & Manic Monday (D5 G5 D5 G5 etc). Catch me if you can ...

They even set up a company (or two) for every album they release. Brilliant if you ask me.
