    HI,

I've been playing with Sugar Bytes DrumComputer and when I'm trying the presets I felt something is wrong with the sound, it lacks something then when I try to tweak the sound, I found this :

    nnnn.png

this happened for all the presets, I check in my Documents/Sugar Bytes/DrumComputer folder and all the files are in there, but somehow it didn't connect with the plugin. Anyone has this kind of problems ? Or even better, any workaround or fix other than manually load the wavetable/resynth which is hard because don't know the right one for specific patch/preset only get 3 letters clue.

Okay, this is rather stupid solution but I share it here anyway, because it could be useful for people that been having the same problem.

    I'm talking about the v1.1.0 R2R release.

I figured there is a saved.chunk file or something and when I opened it with notepad, apart from all the symbols I found a line which has to do with the "previous owner" of the installation.

the solution is to copy "DrumComputer" folder inside the C:/Users/[your name]/Documents/Sugar Bytes/

and create a new user folder name "Robert" and COPY it there. The new location is --> C:/Users/Robert/Documents/Sugar Bytes/

The folder "DrumComputer" and all its content has to exist in both places.

I am not having that problem. I was able to adjust all stuff and get no "not found" messages.
(I see no problems mentioned on sister site, either).
So it makes me wonder if something happened on install.

My "saved.chunk" file only has reference to my own user name, and the places for folders.

umm ... just by chance, do you have a boyfriend?
I'm not making a pass at you ..just wondering if you do..
    is his name is Robert?

Actually, never mind the joking, but i do not find the words "previous" or "owner" in the file.
So, i guess you are assuming it is a previous owner issue, but ... really weird.
What could prevent the installer from reading your username properly?
