A collection of NFO and PIC files (files ripped from AZ) for each new rTOOr release for the SEP-NOV '21 WAVE. See below for details.

WHO : PC users (may be useful for MAC users)

WHAT : PICS and NFO files for new RtooR releases for you to drop into your RtwoR releases' respective folders.

WHY : Well, if you've been doing this for a while, and you archive your releases and then install weeks/months later, it may be difficult to remember the function/purpose of the release. An NFO and PIC file may assist in quick-informative decision making instead of having to online search the info every time.*RtooR does not provide release descriptions in their NFO files (since 2010..2011?)

HOW : Drop the corresponding PIC and NFO file straight into the release folder....then you can archive it.

So I have to download a new version every time R2R releases something on the off-chance that I download an R2R release but don't install it, archive it, and then install it weeks/months later... even though the NFO is in the directory of the archived folder?

I was right the first time. I don't need it.

 

For example, V.R. usually includes a detailed description of the plugins features within their NFO files, etc. R2R doesn't include a detailed description within their NFO files. For that reason, you can download this and move the provided NFOs and PICs into each release's folder to give you a description of what you are installing.

If you can't connect the dots to your workflow, then you probably don't need this.

 

Also, it's cool to see R2R releases because sometimes they get taken down on sister site.
