Well, funny and weird...
People have strange reactions regarding the warez world. Even just making requests here, it's so weird.Why would R2R check the request section of a music forum ? Which, BTW, doesn't have a request section, since it's in no way a warez site...
And yeah @farao in the end people like @subGENRE mess all in good spirit with the requesters, but you're kind of creating tension where there is none in the first place.

People like Subgenre... Messing in good spirit... Right... I have seen that spirit... Let's agree to disagree if that spirit is good or not. Why are you accusing me for creating tension? For having a view on why R2R slowed down their releases? I answered the question stated by OP. Why did you start discussing in this topic... was it to answer OP? Or was it something else? And howcome you are all over me but is ok with obvious personal attacks from Subgenre. Is he on topic here you think?

R2R released a few stuffs just today. They come and they go as they want and can. The OP question is irrelevant since yesterday, and R2R latest offering. But it was not very relevant in the first place. Appart for a "strike" 1 year or so ago, R2R has been constantly releasing for a while now.
They just don't do it according to somebody else rhythm but their own. They haven't slowed down anything, they just do as they can since they clearly stated a while back that nothing more would happen unless people provided more. More will come. If people provide instead of requesting.
I'm not all over you, but you bring over and over this topic, even if it's not what's being discussed. Every comments made until yours were jokes and irony because well obviously R2R isn't gone anywhere, which is why saying they are back when they were never gone isn't correct, and the OP concern is unfonded.
So yeah I'm saying that the fun comments from Sub (which is what they are, no hostility nor mean spirit here) or others are what those kind of "questions" will bring. The only time R2R was really gone, ironically, they made NFOs about it to say clearly and simply why they were taking a "break".
To me there isn't really anything to "discuss", the situation is very clear.
The scene is alive and well. Good things will keep on coming, if we do what we ought to.
The scene is the closest thing we have to utopia, it's fragile, nothing is due and it also depends on us. It's not a requesting game. We are not consumers or entitled to any request (which obviously doesn't forbid them, but it makes them useless), and R2R isn't a company, nor was it put on earth to take people order. In a way we get back what we give, and the thing cannot function if we don't play our part.
Sub diffuses things his own way, with humor, and I do agree with him. I don't get what you mean with expression like "people like subGenre". He helps people with their prods, he shares his stuff, gives advice when people are stuck with R2R releases or others groups releases and don't manage to use them, he is never insulting or abrasive to people, he gives tricks about tools for prod and mix....He brings a treasure of positive things to our community. In fact I really don't understand why you have been so hard on him lately. It's uncalled for.
There are some things I agree with, regarding the concerns you sometime voice, but not with this one.

@Talmi If you ignore it, it will go away. He will always find a reason to have the last word, no matter how you try to resolve it. Even if he wins he will argue about it. Come on, Its all about having the last word with this guy. So why dont we both just ignore him, again. And then we cant talk about him, the price of gasoline, new synths and even more about him, if we feel like it. We will never know he even exists. I was much happier before when he was doing this with other members, before he set his sights on us. His behavior has a history now, imortalized in the halls of this forum. That is what he will always be known for here. Im glad my contributions to this place and the warez scene, in general, are actual contributions and can help someone. Including the warez mongers like him at the end of the food chain just waiting and complaining. He is not worth the time or effort anymore. Trying to validate his ever-changing points. pssst, if you want on-topic forum nazis try GS. You would fit right in there. They love to passive aggressively argue about nothing.

I've never ignored anyone since I'm here. Well I did but without using the ignore function. But if I were to read his post by accident it will lead me back into the circle. So let's test this function now.

You know what I just find a bit boring about the latest R2R (Mac OSX) releases on the partner site? All these have already been released by other crackers. If not publicly, then at least privately because they don't want to have the cracks out in the public anymore. I won't tell who they are, but I can luckily say that I already have most of the Mac items that have been released by R2R on the partner in the last days for weeks or even months, except maybe some updates that just came out yesterday or the day before. So really nothing new for me unfortunately.
I ask myself if R2R knows that and just alibi-releases these things as they seem to be quite easy to crack and are floating around privately anyway.
Ok, now go on and stone me to death for heresy. But I still insist on my opinion.

 

@Hans242 Maybe some people use the groups as an advocate because they dont want to be out there. To make it "official"? Not the first time. Who knows? If a group releases it it goes to all the seed boxes/ftps and then to all the warez sites. If a non P2P group or individual releases it, it wont until its properly packed and released. No stones here my man. We are all good.

At least one of the crackers I know does definitely not use the groups as an advocate. He is against R2R's way to crack the stuff, e.g. keygens, etc...

 

That is not the R2R log, it's the AudioP2P log. And as far as the F.A.Q. goes. That is about us NOT R2R . I know because I helped type it up

 

It's not the FAQ for R2R, The AudioP2P header should be a big hint

 

I am going to clear up everything. Here is how things work. We(AudioP2P) set up a FTP and a IRC system for the groups to use, They upload their releases to dedicated server, once it's logged, it becomes available for the "Racers" to start spreading the releases. It's very easy to understand. R2R does not have an official site nor do they need one, Everything is automated. If a racer happens to have the IRC open he will hear "New release pred" and that lets them know that something new is ready, I highly suggest you all read the Scene FAQ over on the sister site/ Threads like this are a complete waste of time. The only person making any sense is @subGENRE . He knows what he is talking, he has supplied R2R and the old version of the team which was Team ASSiGN, he had been listed in many of the NFO's, He used to also spply us - AudioP2P when we were still releasing and is 1 of the four people that tend to be on this forum that i can think of that has axx to the FTP. Arguing with him is like arguing with your goldfish.
