R2R Melodyne v5.3 is no longer supported on Pro Tools 12.5 AU? R2R has released a modified AAX, but it is not a valid plugin. What happens? PT 12.5 is no longer supported and we ran out of Melodyne? Or is it an R2R issue? Also because what is the point of releasing a product for an obsolete and no longer supported PT if so?

Unfortunately yes, we will no longer have a new version of Melodyne on Pro Tools 12.5 because it is no longer supported.
After all we are talking about a very old DAW from 2015, only the old softwares work well, but the new ones are either unsupported, or simply crash even if supported. And since AudioUTOPiA's retirement, no team has seriously designed a Pro Tools release anymore, which is simply unbelievable.

Fingers crossed we'll get it when the ARA update to PT with Melodyne integration is released.

I've had my fingers crossed for so long now waiting tho I think I've got arthritis.

Hahaha comment of the year so far.

PT has already received a full integration of ARA2 Melodyne in the latest update.

Really? On the PT website he states that Melodyne's ARA2 integration is practically complete and that in the next update it will be further optimized for PT's workflow, with some additions. But I thought it was already complete. My bad

Why is the unbelievable? There is always the option to buy PT if you really need it or simply start using a new more modern DAW, which works with melodyne.

In today's warez era, we have tons of modern DAWs available. I'm not talking about users who work with music, because it goes without saying that they have to purchase the software they use. But of all the softwares, it is incredible that the most important and famous DAW has remained at the obsolete 12.5, completely abandoned by the Teams. A technological era ago, 2015. I'm just talking about releases in the history of warez. Anyone who wants to use a software for professional purposes must purchase it. This is obvious, and we both agree.

Who needs Pro Tools? Yah, I know, industry compatibility blah blah blah... sorry, you've been fooled... stop crying, you had your time.

you realize that Teams are doing free service? If they decide to deal with PT, then they will. It sounds like you think you have any voice in that?

Also there are different difficulties for Audio Software to patch. If PT was one of the esier ones, you would have seen updates.

Also there has to be some kind of motivation to do a certain piece of software, if there is almost none, its more likely nobody will speed time patching it.

Yes, as it has always been for over 20 years now. If you reread what I said, I simply found that compared to other similar softwares, PT has remained untouched for many years. There is a right to express one's opinion without absolutely disrespecting anyone, right? It is a simple observation. Personally PT can remain untouched until 2060 or forever. The Teams have done an amazing job and have received so much love, gratitude, and support for their work.

Correct. If you work only and exclusively on PT, I recommend that you go back to the previous version. If not, start considering tracking and vocal production on an alternative DAW, such as Studio One, Live ecc. Forget new versions of PT, because there won't be any more on the horizon.
