So i've read on the sister site that the kontakt manager isnt working properly not authorizing the libraries.
All my libraries are in demo mode in kontakt r2r.
I was runnin gthe bob dule one but its messing up with ableton live on windows and make it unusable due to laggyness and freezes. Same for the portale one. The r2r worked better but the 6.7.1 version with the manager just doesnt see all the library while also not authorizing any of them.
Any idea how to overcome this ?

 

Just go back to Kontakt 6.6.1 until you come across a library that actually needs a newer version.

 

learn how the license works

R2R keygened license will be replaced by the player license when opening native access. that's why the full license should be modified in read only status.
the player license will show demo libraries in kontakt and build the kontakt database with player license.
the serial check unlock is a mix of public key & ras3 license, this is how is build the final database.

every time you replace kontakt, the database will be rebuilded with he matching public key/license
it take time at the first openeing and don't show nothing (as the running wheel in komplete kontrol or maschine)

kontakt is not stable until it scan all and write the new database. at this point it will freeze if you load libraries.

simply wait a complete scan, close kontakt to write the database file.
then open again and load anything a few later after launch (the time to read this database)

the freeze effect only come from a slow machine (small cpu, memory or hard drive)
wait the unfreeze without clicking everywhere or many time on buttons. or it can crash or block the process.

there is no better version, only different scheme for registration.
my version use the player license, or no license, and the public key is not modified as R2R one.

switch version re launch the database build, located in a common folder.
the last build will work well if you use the same kontakt that the one who created it.

everything works but users are not experimented with this database build/read at the opening.

all the free bundle licenses will revert to player status when opening native access. it download the users ras3 matching with account.
for Kontakt & Reaktor, the keygened one's will be replaced until you put them in read only.
it is not hard to understand and detect.

my NI version kontakt & reaktor don't care about license, both can use player one's or none.
but it is not the case for R2R versions.

this is the only difference, in all case, the modif only concern registration, not the application function, working as the original way.
the freeze effect is for every kontakt vesion.
the daw cache also don't like mixed version database & file change. i can give crash at the opening, or loading plugin... or not seen dll updating the daw.

rename dll or rescan plugins can resolve a hidden kontakt issue when updating ableton, presonus...

learn how it works and react with daw is the best solution, only experiment can help to resolve the user fail.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer.

The slowyness from your kontakt release appeared just when i load any library in kontakt & there was something up with ableton no matter if i loaded kontakt and waited or waited a bit. I've tried a few library and restarted and took time but something isnt going right in my setup.
And afaik it's only this version. But all the libraries were authorized well and i'm not sure why r2r isnt going your way of dealing with libs its less hassle to end user.

Sorry if i didnt explained it clearly i know kontakt always freeze what i mean is that when loading your version of kontakt with my setup my computer running ableton was lagging all the time. the audio was playing but visually it was freezing every 6-10 seconds and being rly slow.

Kind of hard for me to deal with whats going on anyway with the level of knowledge i have. I'll try to revert to another version.

I know its my setup and my fault i just hoped someone had a similar thing and found an easy solution haha
