Hallo, I am curious how legit in terms of not slowing down computer are releases of Mocha,Team Cubeadoobie,BUBBiX etc.
I have installed several plugins cracked by R2R which I have downloaded via Audioz and all are clean - not eating RAM.

pretty much the same to me except these few Tone Empire releases that's been eating my CPU power like hell but others said it didnt happen to them. Not sure if it's happening just to me or the legit is like that. I don't bother much because I don't really use those plugins, just checking em up to see if they are worth buying/using, sadly no. Those are not R2R's releases btw.

Apart from that, all other group releases and R2Rs 95% of them are the same, RAM requirement wise. The other 5% is R2R sometimes mention they remove some internal process of the plugin (ie. iLok, Izotope) so it would use lesser RAM, I think other group followed this as well (but not all) on some plugins but not all, as example the V.R Izotope release is a lot like the legit version while R2R's is technically a bit lightweight but you don't really feel anything. R2R also sometimes fix memory leakage for some plugin which is a very rare case you see once in a while, but that's the plugin problem. In a case where other group didn't do the RAM saving thingy, the plugins will only use RAM as much as the legit does, which is totally normal. Most groups will try to not modify, or minimize the modification of the binary of the plugin if possible so the plugin perform 100% like the legit version, that is always the goal. If the plugin uses more RAM than the legit, they wont release it I believe, since I never seen anything like that.

Thanks for reply. I got on previous OS many plugins mostly or almost only from audioz and my RAM gets from around 30% to 70%. Sometimes I experienced popup windows which was so fast that I have no chance to see what it was and other stuff which I believe was trojans or utilities for mining cryptocurrency. After reinstall and only with R2R releases all seems fine. This is the reason I am asking.

It would be easy to point the blame at the cracker teams/individuals you mentioned, but I can say I've installed several plugins from each of those you mention and never received a single pop up window or any indication of cryptocurrency or anything like that. I'm sure you were infected by a trojan, but I'd look elsewhere and think about other things you installed.. perhaps you grabbed some "cracked" software that was from somewhere other than the sister site that was the cause?

I'd say just stick to R2R for your own piece of mind, but TCD and Mocha are very reliable. I haven't downloaded many Bubbix just yet, but the ones that I have had zero issues.

Actually, I will take a small step back from my statement.. I haven't received any popup windows at all ever. Honestly, 0. But I can't say for certain that some stuff isn't eating up a bit more resources.

used Mocha, TCD stuff since their day one, plus few "beta testing" their stuff before release some time ago. I can 100% confirm, no such thing as trojan, popup or anything funky ever happens. On few rare occasion the plugin's crack broken and crashed the DAW, that's it but they usually fix it after.

For me, the only minus with Mocha's releases is that it creates an endless amount of garbage like uninstallers for the same product. For example, ShaperBox 3. If you look in Geek Unistaller, you can find ShaperBox 3.0.1, ShaperBox 3.1.0, ShaperBox 3.3.0, etc. R2R and TCD releases are always installed on top of older versions and don't leave that much garbage behind

I would recommend using an app like Process Lasso, you can easily dedicate more processing power to your specific apps and needs, also you can use the app to trim the memory if you need to. I have been using this app for a long time, and I highly recommend it.

why ... WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?

    very simply put:

    S++ Tier - R2R
    S Tier - RETSU
    A+ Tier - TCD
A Tier - Flare, Mocha, Moria
    B Tier - Bubbix
    C Tier - V.R
    why? well simply explained:

R2R not only crack or patch. they come up with emulations, to not touch the original protection at all. they come up with true keygens, to not patch at all. very clean installers/uninstallers. they don't mess with the os and if you need to edit the hosts file, they'll tell you to do it! they remove bloat from softwares, they make soft need less resources! they also bugfix stuff, if the product devs ain't seeing it.

RETSU is actually almost the same league, just that they aren't as active (which is nothing negative!), quality > quantity! clean installers/uninstallers. also resource friendly.

TCD has probably learnt from patches from R2R and RETSU, thus has learnt to pay attention to alot. meaining, he's getting there. but i think he's patching the original installers. ain't a fan of that.

Flare, Mocha and Moria. they are doing an ok job. i don't know about the mac releases, though. i think they also patch the original installers or use whatever.. not a fan of some.

Bubbix is new in the game, mostly retail or original serials but also some 'bytes editing' or patching. mostly just patched or original files. or original installers.

V.R .. never liked their way .. messing with os files, registries .. just to get stuff running. that's no clean reversing, that's hacking their way through.

ofcourse ... CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG! :D

I will. You at least got R2R right. Since you have offered up opinions on the Windows teams, do you have any working knowledge of MacOS? I'm going to go with the law of averages and assume not. So leave that out of my "correction". Moria releases were questionable at first, and often needed multiple fixes. But that was also right when Mac releasers had 2 different processor types they were trying to create Universal Binary releases for. That is not a difference going from Windows 7 to Windows 10. It's a lot bigger change to learn about. Moria releases have been solid for the last few years. I have no idea how Moria puts up with some of these users inability to install stuff, having to explain the same things over and over again; and then on top of that Windows users trying to cast aspersions on the work. Without ever even using a Mac for anything. People should stick to what they actually know about.

You are completely wrong to put VR so low in your little ranking list. I haven't seen a Team Flare release in quite some time, so comparing Flare releases to the others is somewhat pointless. A few releases (example: Output Arcade) were obviously complicated work. But no-one else on that list but R2R have done anything even close to VR's Steinberg work, just by itself and without even including other releases. VR should be directly under R2R on your list. Your list does not even mention BobDule, even though he keeps all your NI releases up to date for PC.

You should make a list about something you actually know about. Then try to make it close to accurate as you can; after you come up with one. This one isn't. :)

What are you even talking about?
You might just have said "R2R god, VR shit".

V.R definitely take a beating because they tend have a reputation of not getting it right the first time, but I agree on Arturia. They're my go to for that. That is mostly because they're super quick with cracking any updates, they have a billion presets in their pack, and also well, the V.R one has always just worked great. I'll really use either V.R or R2R for Arturia stuff, but I'm pretty happy with V.R for this.

I don't use Kontact anymore, but I will also say vkDanilov do the best portable Kontakt (and/or Bob Dule??)

As for Waves, I own their Diamond bundle, but I essentially dumped that developer a while ago - cracked and legit.

Why are you attempting to rate the groups?

    To preface;
As stated in previous threads such as this - The groups do their thing and DO NOT EVER release stuff with malware/viri in them. They would NOT be groups very long if they did so... There may be instances of a keygen or crack that false triggers an A/V (you shouldn't be running A/V on a machine running warez in the first place) but that's all it is - a FALSE trigger.

As far this "rating" table goes, it's really quite completely off base, and rather insulting. If anything the criteria to keep track of would be crack accuracy and the need for further "revs" in order to get a release working correctly. Even at that all the groups are pretty much on a level playing field. Maybe they would benefit from a group of us testing the stuff before they let it loose which would eliminate the need for "re-releases" having to be floated... At any rate, the only thing I have been somewhat frustrated with lately is the proliferation of more apple stuff without the PC counterpart releases... But I think that is mostly due to the fact R2R is on vacation at the moment.

I'm not paying for anything else attention wise

I read only R2R and It's like the counterpoint of my OS
wich is music to my ears

the rest is just us growing the fuck up until we can release sweet music

    Good luck

You don't use any libraries or are you using some other host for your libraries?

i was talking about the reversing. not about how fast somebody releases stuff (quantity .. shit!)
and then about how they put it all together.

this list was about the quality of reversing. i don't care on what os. ofcourse i can't speak about how well moria releases worked on mac.
then again, R2R also released stuff for mac. seems to be a pain in the ass on mac. i understand if groups cba struggling with all the problematics.

and why i was asking why people open such threads..

ya'll have SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH you can use; these teams/groups have thrown tons of soft at you and ya'll still whine and whatnot.
ya'll should invest time in writing&producing music with all the soft ya'll gotten for free instead of wasting time for nonsense threads.
and don't come up with 'well you're writing posts yourself'. i ain't here to complain; this account has happened because of people whining about no r2r releases in 4 weeks.

i didn't mention bobdule cuz i ain't using NI stuff anymore, nor do i use waves, but if i did, i'd use the R2R release.
and in your opinion VRs steinberg releases are cleaner than R2Rs releases, yes? have you ever read .nfo files?

yea. i actually don't know much about this. sowwyyy if i ain't simpin' VR that much!

I have read r2r's comments in nfo files as much as anyone else. How long did it take you to dig up one? Probably quite a while, because almost none of them contain those comments. Probably 5 or less. Most recent one I remember was probably Cubase.

and you can ensure me that VR aren't doing it this way anymore? they ain't hacking around os-system files and stuff?
and no, it didn't took me ages to dig that one up. got it stored somewhere to always remind me about how VR are (or in your opinion were) reversing!

Why don't you disassemble a VR release and look for yourself?
