I just added the Lemon Presets to the sister site in the lemon post

 

So I copied the files to LEMON folder but I had no audio on the plugin.. the files you sent are all "N2S" files and all the R2R LEMON files are "N2V" I tried a bunch of things(Im new to the whole XML editing thing) and the solution was to change the file extension of "LEMONSTEREOLPRESET" and "LEMONSTEREOPRESET" to N2V and everything seemed to work audio plays with presets

Just so I'm clear, is all this stuff related to presets only? Like, I don't use presets so if it's just that then I don't have to pay attention to all this.

I mean, I might save a preset for some reason but I'd never start with one. Do I need to pay attention?

 

If you don’t select presets, everything is fine. It’s just an issue with the presets path folder.

 

Nope don't have to pay attention at all if you don't use presets.. ON LEMON specifically I wanted presets just to see what kind of crazy things can be done with it. With FX plugins presets are always appreciated!

 

Thanks for the LEMON preset. I really think it's a good sounding delay but too overkill for me because of the CPU for the upsampling. Maybe will use it if somehow I got a 44.1kHz project.

One more thing, I used to think that people here don't really like AA stuff and judging from people been complaining, all those purist, holier-than-thou mfs, "industry veterans" and whatnot asking R2R to stop releasing. I think there are thousands of people silently downloading the AA plugin from AZ and then just walk away without saying anything. The FIX I posted yesterday is probably just past half a day but already clocked around 600 downloads. That's 600 people downloading it for half a day for a FIX, not even the plugin. The view on the page also 4k+ views for a couple of days, that is the double amount what PSP Audioware plugins been getting. So, it looks like the majority actually want R2R to continue releasing. The haters actually the small minority but.. louder ?

 

I have been noticing that as well! its AA a lot of people will definitely download an not say anything! But also seeing people complaing about not getting the stuff they want haha we should all just be grateful for what we get is what i think. And I think those so called veterans and what knots just don't want us to the get the secret sauce for free because they all had to pay and never thought they would see AA on sister site! same goes for UAD but I think its only a matter of time might be waiting for UAD to unlock all their plugins. Watch when UAD someday droppes it will get all the same hate from the same poeple hating on AA they just haters haha and dont want the secret sauce to be available for as wares

The 3 files sent in the lemon preset archive are all .N2S files.
So, you're copying all 3 files to the LEMON "common" folder, yes?
Changing the file extension of LEMONSTEREOLPRESET.N2S >to> LEMONSTEREOLPRESET.N2V and then
Changing the file extension of LEMONSTEREOPRESET.N2S >to> LEMONSTEREOPRESET.N2V
The LEMONPRESET.N2S file remains the same, no changes. And all is now working, Correct?

 

Yes .. I had my extensions mixed up in the initial post sorry I fixed it now

Very interesting. and a look into human psychology lol. Many people have such a raging ego, that its impossible for them to admit they were wrong. If out the gates they came out shouting "Acustica is evil, Giancarlo is one of the worst people to ever live, a dictator! UAD plugins are better anyways", they will have a really hard time admitting the plugins actually are good, and serve a great purpose as tools in the arsenal. I think its important to admit if you were wrong about something, especially to yourself. It doesnt have to be some public apology etc, but lying to yourself, only hurts you in the end. it can help you grow personally, as its always good to be open to every opinion, otherwise everything in the world becomes one giant circle jerk.

you have to make sure that the option to view files extension is checked in the view tab in file explorer otherwise just renaming it to for example " LEMONSTEREOPRESET.N2S " won't work because the extension won't be changed you just renamed it

I was vocal that I had no intention of trying it because I had no intention of ever buying it, for reasons.

So yeah, if my curiosity got the better of me and I went back on that I'm certainly not admitting it.

I think maybe my system (winX Lite) is the problem
