R.I.P. Werner Nadolny (Jane) passed away on 22.05.2023

As we have learned only now, the keyboardist, saxophonist and composer Werner Nadolny has already died on Monday, May 22, 2023 after a long serious illness at the age of 76 in Hanover.

    Jane - Daytime (1972)

Jane - Here We Are (1973)

Jane - Age Of Madness (1978)

Werner was already a member of the band The J.P.'s at the end of the sixties, which after a few reshuffles and instrument changes of the musicians presented itself from 1970 as a new band with the name Jane. The debut album "Together", released in 1972, was a huge success for a first album at the time, selling about 100,000 copies, and the band was invited to play at major festivals as well as touring on their own. After the second record ("Here We Are", 1973) they parted ways, though Nadolny was back on board for the 1975 disc "Fire, Water, Earth & Air". After another break of almost ten years, he then led the combo through the next decades together with drummer and singer Peter Panka and founded his own offshoot called Werner Nadolny's Jane a few years after the latter's death.
