    Van Conner (March 17, 1967 – Jan. 17, 2023)     was an American rock musician, best known as the bassist for Screaming Trees. Conner died from pneumonia on January 17, 2023, at the age of 55.

    The best band out of the grunge sound. Sound garden were more technical and Nirvana got the fame and the popularity but Lanegan, the Conner Brothers and Barrett Martin were brilliant. Their originals were fire, but that cover of “What Goes On” they did for an Australian Velvet Underground compilation was on fire.
