    RockTimes has learned that on January 12, 2023, musician Robbie Bachman passed away at the age of 69. Robin Peter Kendall Bachman, as the Canadian's real name was, was a founding member and drummer of the band Bachman-Turner Overdrive, also known as BTO. The formation from Winnipeg, Canada, was originally formed in 1970 and had several hits in the 1970s.

    Never really listened to BTO, but I always loved Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse as the old DJ pair who always signed off with You ain't seen Nothin Yet!

    My cousin gave me their album Tinderbox and I sure as shit played the hell out of it for a while, the guitar lead on Roll On Down The Highway for me iconic and though not flashy or fast, defines what rock and roll sounds like in a refined and tasteful, clean Stratocaster kind of way.
