Matthias "Matze" Holtmann (May 23, 1950 in Recklinghausen – November 9, 2025) was a German musician, radio editor, and presenter.

Holtmann attended the private school Landschulheim Schloss Heessen for five years, graduating in 1970. He then studied in Cologne, worked at the State Theatre in Tübingen, and toured as a drummer with the German rock band Triumvirat. Later, he performed traditional jazz with Mister Wendelin's Dixie Band.

In 1979, Holtmann became a music editor at Süddeutscher Rundfunk (South German Broadcasting) in Stuttgart, later head of music at SDR 3, and after its merger with SWF3 in 1998, head of music at the resulting station SWR3. From 1990 to 2004, he presented the programs Extraspät, Na und!?, and SWR3 – Ring frei on the television channel Südwest 3. In 2012, he regularly hosted the annual hit parade on SDR/SWR radio. During the 1999/2000 Bundesliga season, Matthias Holtmann was the stadium announcer for VfB Stuttgart.

In January 2005, Matthias Holtmann joined SWR1 Baden-Württemberg. There, he could be heard on the weekday program "Guten Abend, Baden-Württemberg" (Good Evening, Baden-Württemberg) and on Sundays in the "Kopfhörer" (Headphones) segment. He also developed new program formats for SWR1.

After struggling with muscle pain and coordination problems for over three years, Holtmann was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the spring of 2009.

On May 29, 2015, Matthias Holtmann retired from his role as a presenter at SWR1 at the age of 65.
