Georg(e) “Jojje” Wadenius (born May 4, 1945 in Stockholm; died before or on May 1, 2026) was a Swedish fusion musician (guitar, electric bass, vocals) and music producer, best known internationally as a member of Blood, Sweat & Tears. He combined his guitar solos with surreal-sounding vocalizations.

Wadenius, who attended Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm, worked as a studio musician on several pop music recordings. From 1966 to 1972, he was a member of the Swedish band Made in Sweden, and from 1971 also of Solar Plexus. In the jazz world, he initially worked as a bassist for Åke Persson, Rune Gustafsson, and Björn Lindh, and as a guitarist for Monica Zetterlund. In 1972, he moved to the United States, where he played with Joe Henderson and then, until 1975, was the guitarist for Blood, Sweat & Tears.

From 1979 to 1985, he was a member of the band for the television show Saturday Night Live, but also recorded with Roberta Flack, Dionne Warwick, and Luther Vandross. Subsequently, he worked with Steely Dan (Alive in America, 1993–94), Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, and Dr. John, David Sanborn, James Brown, Marianne Faithfull, Kent, Paul Simon, Dionne Warwick, Roberta Flack, Donald Fagen, and Michael Franks. He also recorded albums with Paquito D’Rivera, Jeremy Steig, Ronnie Cuber, Howard Johnson, George Benson, Viktoria Tolstoy, and the UMO Jazz Orchestra.

As a producer, he worked with Anne Sofie von Otter and Inger Marie Gundersen.

In 1970 he received a Swedish Grammis for Made in Sweden; his records of children's songs were also awarded a Grammis.
