Ambrosia is an American art-rock group from Los Angeles.

History The group was recruited in 1971 as part of Zubin Mehta's All-American Dream Concert; however, the quartet didn't receive their first record deal until four years later. Their debut album contained two hits, including a Kurt Vonnegut cover. The musicians can be heard on the track "The Raven" alongside Eric Woolfson and Stuart Tosh on the Alan Parsons Project's 1976 album *Tales of Mystery and Imagination*. In 1977, they performed in the film *All This and World War II*, contributing their version of "Magical Mystery Tour." In 1978, the group, now a trio, released *How Much I Feel*, which reached number 3 on the charts, a feat they repeated in 1980 with *Biggest Part of Me*.

Christopher North died on March 30, 2026, at the age of 75 from cancer.
