Who knows - could be a challenge for the common providers of pro headphones and the price is ok if they are good?!?

Apart from anything Rode are just a really solid company. I got their USB-Mini podcast mics recently (also around 150 USD RRP) and I'm pretty blown away by it tbh. It has onboard DSP FX (branded and sounding like certain outboard UAD effects, like Aphex Aural Exciter and Big Bottom) an internal pop filter and other thoughtful things that make it ideal for podcasts and real-time OBS/video calls, but also a surprisingly decent music-making mic - the sound is quality.

And I can personally attest to Rode's crazily good customer service. Last month I contacted them about my NT1-A mic, which I picked up second hand a year ago and had buggered up quite on my own. This unit was around 10 years old, I bought it for next to nothing from a local seller, no receipt or box, and I was fully upfront with them, just asking for a repair quote - but they told me their warranty would still apply, and then fixed it for free. I was vaguely aware of their reputation for this kind of long term commitment but was pretty amazed, I can't imagine many other companies selling in that price range that would do that.

Most likely not good headphones for th emoney, they have a business opportunity because they sell decent mics for podcasters and so on so this is a great chance for them to also sell other stuff. I bet 50€ akgs beat those

Not me, neither do my mum, any in my family, my neighbors, any in my village, my parish etc...... so your statement seems to be a minor exaggeration
The pricing on these headphones is certainly reasonable, so I would not deny that I could think of buying a set - especially not if they turn out to be good
Btw: It doesnt seems like you that familiar with Røde products - I have owned several of their microphones (not the USB ones) and still have a few left .... great value for money if you ask me :like::guru:

The company Rode has been attacking the big ones for years, their means are cheaper prices and better quality.

The only experience that I have with RÔDE was when I had their RÔDE Classic mic in the 90's. It was a great sounding mic and built like a proverbial brick shithouse. I've seen video of their Australian production in facility and was impressed. Our old friend of the site Herr Dur loved his RÔDE K2. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a decent set of cans.
