oh thanks Pinkman, I know, I have been meaning to hotrod my 2009 dual core cheese grater for awhile now... not too expensive and you can get some screaming fast speeds for audio.... ;)

 

The SSD issue is with both macbook pro and desktop, I had the same problem on both. Its an issue with the operating system, any OS after Maverick was designed for SSD's. Before I replaced drives my computer was taking forever to load sessions, or even Word app, and was having overheating issues. after changing I noticed everything runs a lot faster and stays cooler.
