Howdy! I had some questions about the WAVESTATION VST, both questions being of software and hardware. Firstly, from what I've read on official showcase page of the VST, it is written: "The KORG Collection WAVESTATION comes with extensive preset programs and waveforms from all models of the series: WAVESTATION, WAVESTATION EX, WAVESTATION A/D, and WAVESTATION SR. It also comes with 6 types of optional PCM/program cards that were popular at the time, and a total of 7 KLC cards are newly added to the KORG Legacy Collection"


Knowing this I went out to try to identify which of those PCM/program cards were, but not to much avail (This was my primary reference material for this endeavor). RAMs 1, 2 and 3 were easily retraceable, as goes for ROM 11 (that being the internal ROM of the WS), otherwise the rest aren't too clear as to which of the ROM/cards they are, especially the "7 KLC cards". If someone can kindly point to reliable research, not even do the heavy-lifting on pin-pointing exacts (out of courtesy of your time). I'd have to assume that the organization is supposedly based on the WS SR (this being my resource as well)?

As for my second and final question: I am an avid iMac user as per my backlog of forum posts, and have 3 MIDI capable keyboards: Casio VZ-1, and two Novation Launchkeys (Mini, 61). I was wondering if there was some kind of cheap-o USB joystick-like device I can use separate from my keyboards that can be programmed to emulate the joy stick in softs-synths such as the Roland D-50, Prophet VS and of course, the WAVESTATION.

I've got lots of RAM card files from that list, can share if you need them.

As for the joystick you could buy any usb game joystick and use it, just need some kind of software to translate joystick moves to midi.
But you could use your phone or tablet to control Wavestation too.

For the joystick: if for you is not mandatory having hardware, you can use TouchOsc, you can easily create a XY control (I did it for other synths).
For Apple or Android.

Off topic: in 1992 for a brief time I had the opportunity to test the then new Wavestation A/D, was awesome.
Moreover, it had a feature not much documented, it worked also as vocoder and/or FX through analog input.
