After verifying the details on the Sample Magic website, I find that the Radio Slave Wav release is supposed to have Claps... but when opening the Drum Hits folder, there is NO Claps folder... furthermore, unlike all the sounds files in the entire collection, which start with "rs", the Snare folder is filled with sounds that are named with the following "DRUM HITS SNARESxx" convention...

    so what is/are my questions?

Can anyone that legitimately bought this samplepack, verify the following:

    1) Is there really NO clap folder?... this guy is known for his claps... among other things..

    2) Is the 'snares' folder labelled the same way?

I can't help but wonder if this release from MAGNETRIX was somehow altered and both missing the 'claps' folder AND packed with snare-samples that do not belong... or is this really the exact same pack that one would download if purchased from Sample Magic or elsewhere? :dunno:

    gracias!!

    figment of my imagination
I bought it and there is a clap and snare folder separately. I think you can mix and match on Samplemagic website so i'm not sure if maybe if you bought the apple loops version you'd only have loops i think. it would have the claps and snares in a separate folder if you bought the wav format and sampler patches. I bought the whole thing and it came wit this, gets confusing but they always have good shit so i don't mind. the drum hits folder starts with rs2_bandsnare.wav or something but the naming is the same as the rest. When you mix and match you maybe have different ways I think. Samplemagic is the best so whatever you get it's always premier quality.

    wav format
    ableton live sesh
drum hits folder with claps, crashes, hats, kicks, sampler patches , snares
    drum loops and grooves
kits with some drum kits in it they are named
    machine kits
    percussion and no kick grooves
    rex files

    apple loop format

    drum loops and grooves
    percussion and no kick grooves

I searched my sample collection and there seems to be two packs named radio slave from sample magic
    I did not purchased them.

    Sample Magic - Radio Slave
Contains no clap hits. Snares are named different here as well :dunno: They sound authentic tho

And the one you're looking for:

Sample Magic - Radio Slave "Beats" Collection
Has a specific folder named claps. It contains 22 clap hits.

    Check your PM

P.S. 'nycdl' owns the Beats Collection

yes, there are TWO different Sample Magic Radio Slave Sample packs...

    1) Radio Slave (no claps, unlike product website description :dunno:)

    2) Radio Slave Beats Collection (yes, claps, etc)

are you perhaps confusing the 2?.. is yours the Beat Collection?

cuz I have that. And yes, IT has claps, but not the other (Radio Slave)

thanks for the reply mates :mates:
