On my system Yosemite plugins from AA cannot create a *.SER file. And when I try to load them they crash my hosts (REAPER or Live). I think it because permission issues but Acustica folder has all users rwx.
Their forum has no answer on this question.
Just asked here before write to AA support. cos I decide to buy N4 and Amethyst3. (have valid student card, hope for 35%off )
    Cheers!

Sorry, no Mac help here, but from PC side I had to run the DAW as an administrator in order for the plugin to have sufficient privilege to write the *.SER file. The plugin inherits privilege from the DAW. Dunno if it's the same on the Mac, but maybe this will give you some ideas...

@digitaldragon Already tried to run host as root user, same result.
Tried to install on my old win laptop. Everything works. :dunno:

Is the old win laptop a hackintosh (OSX) or is it Windows?
This may be already answered in the forums on Acustica. It seems like a permissions issue to me, but who knows.

@digitaldragon It runs on win7. I'm too 100% shure that it due to permission, but how to solve it I didn't find on their forum.

Well, the crash occurring could be why the *.ser file isn't created. Yosemite is which OSX version? (Click the apple, about this mac and it will show 10.xx.xx etc.)
