    Hello all ,

Did someone manage to play chords (with or without sustain pedal) with the preset " String Ensemble"

from "NI Symphony Series String Ensemble" without glitch /or clips audio ?

I should mention that the library is on a separate SSD .

    OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 / Kontakt 5.5.1.451.

Don't use the sustain pedal it doesn't work like LASS2. You can use it but release it everytime you switch chords (like you would play a regular piano)

Also, in the mixer settings, choose divisi A or B as opposed to the full ensemble. Then chords sound pretty georgeous :)

    Cheers

    Hi,
    what's your ASIO/AU buffer size?

It could be one particular Kontakt filter causing audible pops. When I tweaked Spitfire Harp, I came across AES filter, which caused dropouts on 48k sample rate.

    Testing this for you

    Im on PC I7 2600k - 24gb ram - 7200 Toshiba 4 terabyte sample library drive

    Kontakt 55.0.049

    Focusrite 6i6
    Studio one - in latency 6.73 - out latency 6.73 - 48k - 128 samples

I'm ok up to around 8-10 notes at the same time without the sustain pedal
I think its only polyphonic to a point on my end then it cuts off the first note in the chord

With the sustain pedal its fine up to 7 notes, works fine no issues.
8 notes up sometimes I hear a little click or pop when I let go of the pedal.

Not sure if this helps. I'm on a different platform
