I'm still using K4.1.1 AiR, and that's because it have all the impulse responses and effects, and i want to know if the 4.2.2 have those because i want to install K5 but i heard that you need to have 4.2.2 ASSiGN installed for work properly

Kontakt 5 should be a complete installation, with everything that comes with 4.2.3 plus some more stuff. I've had no problems with it. I have 4.2.3 installed as well, but K5 installs to its own folder and operates independently of previous versions.

i talk about the native k4 library ,the third part libraries work fine

 

if you created any songs with kontakt 4 and you still want to play them then you need to keep it installed or you can not open it any more so insall kontakt 5 and it will be a separate program

 

@ duskwings and a few others, You are not understanding the scenario. The kontakt4 library is in a completely different format than the Konatkt5 lib. There for you have to treat as any other 3rdparty library and use the REG. trick. I posted more than enough info for you to figure it out. Please re-read the whole thread this time.As things have changed up a bit with the updates
