I use Studio One Pro 4.6, came across this in the loop section.
How can i use those? Seems that those are grooves, but no content.

  3. This is quite old but should give you enough info about the groove tool to use it on newer versions of S1.

There's another four vids in the S1 audio timing series on the same channel.

Sorry, i didn't explain it well. I know what the grooves are for, but those folders are empty, i can see the folders on all the grooves folders, but there are no files when i open them. The same files on explorer are not zero kilobytes, they seem to have some content, but it's showing nothing when opening the folders in Studio One.

Have you downloaded it via Studio One?

  6. Sorry I misunderstood. Just checked and I've got the same. I seem to remember MVP Loops and Big Fish in the factory sounds would never download properly, or would say they had then be unavailable later. I'd have thought it might be down to a bad installation but there's also empty preset folders for some VST drum machines in there.
I'd guess that there's nothing usable there until you save your own presets. They just look like empty folders.

I thought it was a bad installation. Strange cause the files are not empty when opening them from explorer.

  8. I think it's just an idiosyncrasy of the Studio One browser. You can't use the contents from there but they do appear in the grooves drop-down list and elsewhere.

MV8800 Grooves - it is groove TEMPLATES! not loops, not soundsets. These files contain NO sounds.
This one of ~1000 expansions created by users. This expansions available at user account for free (maybe for all, maybe for owners of S1 Pro only, I don't know - I have license).
Other files in your list contains no sounds too. Read description of expansions.

In S1 browser choose "Files" section, in the root of list click to "Sound Sets" and open dirtectories to see files.

e.g. Coffee Grooves - Korg DDD-1 - is quantize settings. Open your midi in editor, click big "Q" button and drag'n'drop one quantize settings from list to "Quantize (Music Editor)" window.
