34p really is next to nothing though. And you don't need to 'get in quick' because you can always find them at these prices.

I paid mine - Win10 Pro - 4€ at amz. Still valid and legit. With a little search effort, you can find less expansive (as cheap as 1€, still 100% legit), any time of the year, and I don't talk about limited promo here.

Not to be offtopic, but there are 500kb .cmd files that gets you digital licenses for free. And works when reinstalling etc.

 

Always wondered how do these sites work? How can they be legit for the price? Is there a bunch of script kiddies stealing and selling?

You know Microsoft doesn't charge Russians and Chinese people the same prices that they charge Americans, right? Retail prices in those countries are dirt cheap. OEM prices are almost free. I'm sure the agreement those companies have with Microsoft doesn't allow them to sell in other territories, but I'm equally sure there's nothing Microsoft can do to you if you buy one of those licences.

Ok, the original license is needed when you have a business: software piracy is actually prosecuted in developed countries. Now I wonder why a company should buy a windows license from a random Chinese website (legit?)

if you think that buying a klm license for 3 dollars cleanse yur conscience you r compleltely wrong. Crack it, because microsoft doesn t make a cent from those licenses since they were not supposed to be sold to the public, and you only give money to people who have no right to sell them, otherwise microsoft and legit store should be stupid to sell their os for hundreds of bucks.Just download a kmspico or smething similar,it s more honest, and if you have to format your os you don t have to buy another license from those unlegit sellers because the one you bought only works once

 

Basicaly you're just buying a CD-Key / Product-Key / Activation-Key on those sites.
THIS HAS NOTHING IN COMMON WITH A LEGAL LICENSE !

It's like buying a key for your neighbors car...
It worx and you can do whatever you want with the car but you're not the legit car owner in any way.

 

pykms.py running on a docker node for me, does the job while only taking up a few kb of shared memory that isn't common to other docker nodes, and I can easily read the source to verify it has no malware (not that it could do much inside docker anyway)

When purchasing ultra-cheap Win keys, you can never be sure they are legal. Pretty high chances they aren't.
Is it worth it? I don't think so. Not because of a few bucks I payed for but for legal reasons. If I have no reassurance that my purchase wouldn't get me fined in a hypothetical lawsuit than it is not worth it.

 

Here in Germany, Microsoft had tried to sue a company that sold the keys.
The judge ruled in favor of the company - it's all right. Microsoft, as the loser of the lawsuit, paid the legal costs.
The company bought a lot of software licenses from Dell, an American company.
However, the prices for such licenses have increased from 20 € to 30 € because of home office in Corona.

2. If/when MS is going to chase you, it's not going to be MS but some deutch lawer from the deutch headhunting company. You won't have enough money in the process.
