What can I do to achieve bass tone like this?

I already have the P-Bass and fresh strings
Can I replicate that tone with TSE B.O.D 2.0 or Amplitube?

    Thanks in advance

neither production or band is using high end gear or set up - those bass samples sound a bit EQed down or buff. clean. rolled off and turned up a bit on a shitty amp. where the band has most of their songs in the same range each element has a sort of pass for their octave. in this case bass is buff and guitar and vocals add all the treble. in amplitube a low overdrive with clean vintage amp would work best - i like the american clean stuff best of all their amps

Play with a pick and run through a miked amp for the first one. Second one sounds played with a pick, new strings, not much low end, but I don't think it's a miked amp. And for both, play hard. Nothing special or difficult about getting this type of tone.

An american P-bass with all to 11 , with fresh string is all you really need. There actually IS much low-end.
Play very hard with loud gain and flat eq... A tube Ampeg is what you shoot for. Amplitube + some drive can get close.
Don't play close to the bridge, but between mics and fretboard.

Ha ha, go for the Ampeg SVT in in your VST. It is one of the most recognized and powerful bass tones ever. Bass players recognize that Ampeg sound as soon as they hear it. But really, no plug in matches the sound of an SVT cabinet, because it has eight 10" speakers. Get one and mic it. $$$$$$$$
