So few months ago I tried the MasterComp - laggy experience!

GUI of plugin initialized after about 3-4 seconds, then if you move any knob - it will respond after 6 seconds.
Not only that, but the whole DAW is freezing (S1 Pro & FL), taking about 10 seconds to your every next action.
All with 12% CPU usage on i7.

This has not been fixed - since March (latest release).

Now they published PSP 2445 - same story, but responds slightly faster (2-3 seconds) to knobs.

All their other plugins are fine (the ones I tested).

I'm surprised this is nowhere mentioned in the net? Is it only me with this problem?

This is not related to R2R, demo versions react the same way.
Note: This happens on Windows. I don't care about Mac.

Can you check if that's the case for you?

If so, this has to reported to their dev. Because it's sucks.

    Video demonstrations here:

No problem on my end running in Reaper. Very smooth and accurate response.
Ran in Reaper and Pro Tools.

Weird. I had this since Windows 7. It's not related to my audiocard - tried different buffer settings.
Just did clean install, same stuff.

    @an07her

You could use the following setting (FL Studio) :

It helps me with Rapture Pro (1st release) & Spire v1.1... Try it.

Never had any bad experience with PSP plugins. S1 here as well. I don't use MasterComp but never had any problem before. Anyway now just loaded for you. CPU usage 4% - quite, CPU usage 5% - sound through. No GUI issue. May be run CC cleaner and delete registry, delete all traces manually. I am not a technical guy so can't be of any help only this far I know, sorry :(

Some plugins increase latency because they need time to process stuff and changes in parameters. There are plugins where you can specify how much latency it is allowed (ex. T-Racks bundle) and also options in the DAW where you can compensate this small latency introduced by the VSTs (most of them are able to do it by default).
I use only L'otary V1 and Pianoverb from PSP and I had issues only with L'otary when used in the highest quality but the Low CPU runs fine.

Yes this really works for some plugins. But not the case here, it happens on every DAW I try.
All other PSP plugins work perfectly.

    Added videos to first post.

Former win 7 now upgrated to win 10 pro. No problems here. Look what you use as a default sets plugins. Maybe its another plugin. Its also adviseable to update the graphic card drivers and sounddrivers too. Download adwcleaner and virusscan your pc with decent anti-virus-program. Try to deaktivate Any background graphiccard- /video-tools like MSI afterburner with RTSS. Their overlays to the plugins graphics interfere witch eachother.

  13. got the same issue since a month ago, solved (call it a coincidence or whatever) after installing FALLOUT 4... :woot:
maybe there was somethin' wrong with the GFX drivers and the new DirectX get rid of it... i dont really know...
never had any problems since then...

Can't be other plugins, since every DAW is reacting the same to plugins.
I also did clean install again without success.

The only thing I have is MSI afterburner, but I don't think that affects it?
Just tried without it - same.

Viruses - no way in my PC. Graphic drivers - latest.

The only thing left is to check registries... but it shouldn't be. If their new plugin is doing this shit - something is wrong. Runtime libraries perhaps got mixed up or something.

  15. @an07her did you have a dedicated graphic card or a motherboard one?
got a lot of lag problems with some plugs when running through the APU... so i gave my old nVidia a little spin and it solved most of them

Yeah, 10 only has blur effect with registry hack and it works only for start menus. It's different than the Aero on 7 (which uses dwm service)

It's something with these 2 plugins itself. I will try to figure it out.
Not registry, not runtime, no DAWs, no viruses... they both have something in common which other plugins of PSPAudioware don't.
