    PSP stompDelay

PSP stompDelay is a creative delay plug-in (VST, AAX and RTAS for Windows; AudioUnit, VST, AAX and RTAS for Mac OSX) designed to provide a wide range of sounds from lush analog tape delays through vibrant loops, from classic ping-pong to scratchy pitch shifts. It features both traditional delay effects and a looper when in “infinite operation mode” (called Infinity mode) that offers continuous tap tempo, as well as accurate tape simulation, including simulating the volume drop that occurs when fast forwarding or cueing the tape.

I can't play the damn video because they use the obsolete and crappy Flash player. PSP, Flash player, really? wtf? HTML5 is very old news now, people. What century are you living in? "Flush" player... :hahaha:

Otherwise it looks interesting. But they have released so many different delays already , I can't remember which is which.

You know I was trying to watch the night manager on bbc iplayer last night when iplayer decided to tell me that this particular video couldn't be played back on html5 and that I needed flash player. I went to the 'secret' develop menu in osx Safari and selected ios9.3 iPad safari. This basically makes bbc think I am on an iPad. The html5 playback magically worked from then.
Think it is bad that little old psp is still stuck on flash? Not even the massive bbc has sorted themselves out yet! So annoying how backwards companies can be sometimes, clinging on to the outdated techs so desparately.
    Sorry for being off topic!!

I really love PSP, but frankly, who needs another delay plugin?

I think these companies should start bringing new things to the table. How many eqs, compressors, reverbs and delays do we need?

Yes, true...it's not their first Delay. They really should improve their existing products instead of launching new ones.
But on the other hand they want to use promotion, as the market is rather brutal...forgetting very fast!

If you ask me - only one, and it says "oats, organically grown" on it. I wouldn't touch this sugary chemical crap with a 10-feet pole. Only if there's nuclear war and there's nothing to eat. :winker: PSP should grow one "organically grown" delay and that's it. One like "Echoboy", or "Ohmboys"... :winker:

p.s. I really like their "N2O" multifx. A bit hard to wrap your head around it at first, but very much worth it in the end.

If PSP were to provide this on their website for FREE it couldn't be available any sooner. How does the sister site manage to get stuff so quickly? I reckon it's magical forces at work. :D

protection is simple/easy and its been since ages the same, also the same for all plugins.

anyway support the psp devs as they have a straightforward protection compared to thers.

somebody tried the delay? it looks interesting with the filters and all that stuff.

It doesn't sound like any Cure Song I've ever heard. However, seeing as I don't think I have heard ANY Cure Songs, this whole post is a waste of time. Sorry.

Thanks for clearing that up Artic. I don't know that I'll bother installing it but your point was well made.

about the picture above, it reminded me of the scene in a movie Hurt Locker, in the end, where the guy stands in front of a huge, super long wall of breakfast cereals in a supermarket and it's so many, redundant and confusing, that he can't choose one. And, unable to come to terms with the "supermarket life", he goes back to war, because only there he gets his answer, it's either yes or no, live or die, either he handles a booby trap or it blows him to pieces. I liked the ending.

about the subject, I'm not against new delays or reverbs. personally, I like when they go for hardware. I know it's not 100% aunthentic emulation and has its flaws, obviously, but I was pleased to see emt-140 by waves and, recently, long-awaited binson echorec emu from empty room. what I would like to see from devs is more guitar pedal vsts, a decent wah wah at last. so far, I only know one guitar pedal that was emulated in high detail - BigRock phaser (Small Stone emu). it's just too bad Mokafix abandoned his projects, he had some cool stuff coming up a few years back.

    True indeed! :like: :winker:
PSP Protection is reasonable now, just a few lines of code...they used the old iLok protection system in early days.

That was surely too cumbersome to many users, customers!

I just gave it a try.
First impression is very good to the point I'm considering a purchase.
PSP really are good and reliable dev in my opinion.
