Just reinstalled my DAW and remembered this god-send of a way to keep all Kontakt libraries intact I thought of a while back. On Windows, it is super simple.

Step 1:
Export the following hives in Windows Registry:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments]

Step 2:
Make a backup of
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center
(contains all the XML files)

On new PC, make sure you have the same drive letters and paths to libraries.

Install the same cracked Kontakt as before

Then simply import those two REG files and restore the Service Center folder.

Voila! You have a full working exact same Kontakt installation with all your hundreds of libraries ready to go and in the correct order
