That's pretty cool how the little browser has a waveform display.

    Edit: whoa...

Couple of cool new features like Project Revision,Real Time Clip Effects,Editing and Track Freeze.
Still haven't addressed the Midi issues but i don't do a little of Midi stuff anyways.

All and all, they've made some nice improvements.

    What issues?
I use PT regularly for midi without any 'major' problems.

No major problems,it's just the editor could be more like Studio One.
That editor is super friendly and easy to use.

I've been using PT since the first version was in alpha testing and they've never addressed MIDI properly IMO. You can sequence with it, but they try too hard to apply the same editorial logic for MIDI and audio clips, and they're not the same thing. The tools for selective quantization, logical editing, and ganging instruments are at best very crude. Best platform in the world for recording, editing and especially for mixing, but still pretty clunky for MIDI.

I agree, PT for MIDI is definitely not the greatest choice, but for Audio Recording and Editing and Mixing Pro Tools is probably the best option in terms of DAWs.
