    So i just created a bootcamp partition on my MBP mid-2015 with Windows 10. So far i've installed FL Studio 11 and couple of other plugins and they open fine. But i recently got my hands on AudioUtopia's PT12.5;

    Installation was smooth just a popup opened asking me to install Windows Media files (since bootcamp didn't install it by default)!! But now it wont open no matter what i do. Changed the permissions and all tried Troubleshoot Compatibility, but still no luck!!

    Clicking on it doesn't open anything! Don't know what i'm doing wrong!! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    PT & bootcamp.. don't know if that works..
    PT is picky on it's audiointerface, running Mac core audio over bootcamp could be the reason. PT HD will take over the audio interface, you can't use it for anything else when PT HD runs.
    So make sure it is the only software that uses audio when you start it. Maybe install Asio4All, and maybe even before you install PT..

    i'm on bootcamp, pt 12.5 audioutopia runs fine. besides the MSVC++ libraries, just installed the pt, not even quicktime stuff, and it works, at the first run like boom said, sometimes it's crank the startup, giving me an number error, just disable the core audio interface and select your external audio interface at the first run, and its done.

    Core Audio is something macOS related. Installing Windows on a Mac is teh same as installing on PC Hardware. A Mac is essentially a PC

    I think I had to install asio4all to get it to work out of the mac speakers/headphones? other than that works fine...
