Changes in Elastique Pitch v2.0.4

• New: press command key on Mac or the strg-key on Win to fine-tune pitch and timbre (slider and circle).
• New: by holding down the shift key, the circle can be moved on a semitone grid only.
• Fixed (Mac only): recording GUI variations only worked correctly for timbre (Logic Pro only).
• Fixed: pitch bend automation didn’t work as expected.
• Fixed: when a text editor gets focus, all text is now selected.

Why does everybody want the real-time version?

Vielklang is more useful from a mixer perspective (and cheaper...)

 

It's crazy.
All the different daw makers that claim their pitch shifting algorithm is better than X, when actually 90% of the daw, from live to Cubase, are using the zplane tech.

guys, I just noticed something: steinberg uses the cheap and much less quality algorithm 'EFFICIENT', instead of PRO, on their expensive 500 euros HALION 5 sampler.
Shouldn't a sampler app be THE APP that should have the best algo, because of the nature of its main function : dealing with samples, mangling them, etc ?

when we see what Motu mach5 V3, and its ircam partnership CAN do with samples, halion 5 algorithm looks like a toy.
damn, a 400-500 euro sampler like halion 5, one shouldn't expect such thing. What is the difference in price, between the pro algo and the efficient one? Maybe 5-10 euros? Shit, halion 5 doesn't cost 50 euros, the last time I checked its price.
