maybe one of you guys can help me . ok, so ive tried to install this at least 10 times (uninstalling, removing the keys, all folders, etc) but to no avail . for one, the patch never patches everything (though im not sure if its supposed to or not) . it patched 500 files on one install, and 100 on another, etc . my main problem comes when i go to the license center .

I know what im supposed to be looking for (device id) but i dont see it . and when i click at the top, like local license, it tells me to download the latest version of the licence center . the only time i even see a device id is when i have a flash drive plugged in . after an install, it also doesnt make the licences folder, so im sure something is screwed up for me . any ideas ???

i should mention what im running, huh .
    asus zenbook ux501vw, win 10 (64 bit), 16gb ram, 512 ssd, i7, fl studio 12.1.3

i also tried to install one of the older versions (v9r27) but had the same problem .

any help would be greatly appreciated .

if you can`t see your usb stick and its device id, try another usb stick.
i had one old 128 mb stick in my drawer that I wanted to use for that purpose, but it didn`t show in the licence center; so I hat to use a newer one of 1 GB

...and of course, read carefully the R2R instructions and included screenshots.

    Cheers and good luck

Use your COMPUTER as reg device no need for an usb stick or even better use old r24 patch WITHOUT any need for registration it still works up until v9.30
But first read the R2R nfo carefully before uninstall you need to delete some waves folder in the registry also and some in program data that folder is hidden for you if you have the OS setup as it is after a normal install
Oohps didnt see that your on win 10 dont know if MS change anything in the folder structure since win7? but anyway you could try to install it as win7 compability.

Cannot get Waves to load in Pro Tools and, had to download Waves Complete V9r29
from June 2014 which I had deleted by mistake. There has always been a problem
with the V9R30 setup and patch for me. Works or does not work.

My work-around is to install the V9R29, run the patch and copy patched dlls to overwrite
originals. Verify in DAW that they will load and then install the V9R30 which will update
only what is needed. Run V9R29 patch again and verify.

After you can delete what you don't need.
Win32 or Win64 dlls, dpms, aaxplugins and the WPAPI_*.bundles.
I also delete the Linux and Win32 forlders from the waves driectory using
search for Explorer or Total Commander>

1.For device id to be shown, you have to install your 'Realtech Lan Drivers'.
    2. C: programe data is a 'hidden folder' inside which there will be your waves, license, etc. folders. So show hidden files and System Files ??

Whats good man, if one were to use your method and use the older patch, do you happen to know if that would have a negative impact for someone who plans to install the recent AUT's release of the cracked AAXv cracked Pro-Tools? I have had similar problems to what this dude is having except my license just would not show up ever, so i had to switch back to an old Waves. I would love to get with the times though and I DEFF wanna get up on that AUT cracked AAX/PT release. Thanks in advance for your response!

I was having a problem with the Waves 9.30 install at first. Not sure if it relates to the OP's difficulties on this thread, but if not maybe it will help someone else doing a search on the forum for an assist with this installation.

I'm on Win 8.1. What happened with me was that I did the install, but was still getting some license prompts in S1. Despite those license prompts, at first the Waves stuff was still showing up in the list of "effects" in S1. Then, by the next day, after a re-boot, all the licenses were gone and nothing would work with Waves.

I wound up determining that there are just quite a few different folders that waveshell files are getting dumped into on Win 8.1, and its easy to miss some of them, especially since they all have the same names as the patched files -- it can get confusing.

So, the "fix" I did was to clean everything up, and re-do the install. I waited a half hour to do the patching so that when you are looking at all these waveshell files in Explorer (or some other file manager) you can easily spot which are the original and which are the patched ones based on the difference in creation time noted on the file. Then I used a great little piece of free software called "Everything" (voidtools.com) that creates a quick database of all files on your computer and allows for instant searches on your computer. I searched for "waveshell", found about 3 or 4 other folders that had waveshell files I had missed on the first install, replaced them with the patched ones, and doing this got everything working just fine. So the problem was waveshell files I had missed patching on the first install.

    Hope that helps someone out.

For those who have problems. Download Waves r30 and then patch it with the crack included in r24 release.

    That worked for me.

Decided to come at the problem differently to get aax files working in Pro Tools on Windows 7 64 bit.
TransVST does not load the Waveshells but does recognize the invidual plugins when you
scan the C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Waveshells folder.

From there you simply highlight/select the plugins you want to wrap or wrap all.

Keep in mind that you have to patch each aax file one at a time using TransVST_Fixer.exe
    located in C:\Program Files\Sugar Bytes\TransVST. I place a copy, not a shortcut of TransVST_Fixer.exe
on the desktop. This makes it easier to drag and drop using a file manager such as Total Commander
that allows you to work with more than one folder at a time for moving files around.

For those who don't know, TransVST places the wrapped aax files in for example:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\Waves\C6 Stereo.aaxplugin\Contents\x64

TransVST_Fixer.exe places patched aax file in for example:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\Waves\C6 Stereo.aaxplugin\Contents\x64\modofied

Once your file(s) are patched, you move it/them into the respective X64 folder replacing the
unpatched file. You can then move the entire wrapped folder to for example:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\Waves\C6 Stereo.aaxplugin\Contents\x64

I would recommend creating a folder for Waves to better manage what you see
You will now see you axx file(s) in Pro tools.

Yeah, I tried that. Messed up my original install leading me to do a cleanup, reistall R29,
then R30 patching with R29 patcher. Had no problem seeing device under Waves License
app it just would not recognize licenses from any plugin. This led to my particular work-around.

Everything working perfectly now including aax in Pro Tools...

Uninstall Waves, and check all your x86 x64 vst and aax locations to manually remove any waveshells that could remain. Reinstall Waves v9r30. There is no need to select the license center box when installing. It is installed automatically. And there is no need to sign into the license center to do what you need to do after the installation. If you follow this in order you should be successful:

(To license v9r30 you will need the patch and keygen from v9r27, and the patch from v9r24)

    1. Uninstall any previous version before installing.

    2. To install all products choose:

    - Mercury
    - Abbey Road Collection
    - SSL 4000 Collection

    3. Run the v9r27 patch first, and then the v9r24 patch right after.

    4. Copy the patched WaveShells to your according plugin directory/ies.

    Patched WaveShells are here :
    Win x86 : C:\Program Files\Waves\Waveshells\
    Win x64 : C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Waveshells\

    5. Run the Waves License Center within the waves program folder.
Copy the device ID which you will find by clicking "local licenses"
    at the top.

    6. Run the v9r27 keygen, paste your device ID, and generate a *.wle license.

    7. Put the *.wle license file here without changing the file name:

    Windows : C:\ProgramData\Waves Audio\Licenses\
    WinXP : C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data

    8. Check Waves License Center to see that your Waves plugins are registered.

ok, i unistalled waves, removed all of the .dll from any folder they appeared in, removed the registry changes, and proceeded to follow your instructions . i did exactly as you instructed, and still nothing . i dont understand why its not recognizing my computer as a device .. thanks for the help you guys, i guess im just unlucky here . time to reinstall fabfilter again i suppose :/

edit: 'empty device' pops up when a flash drive is plugged in, but i want it licensed to the computer, not a flash drive

Waves v9r30 on MAC gives no problems @ all! :winker:
I installed from the single Plug-Ins Install option,
then patched them all with the *Patch Command*.
