Guys I don't mean to sound obnoxious, but I think R2R rushed in with some really badly shaken plugins. Will there be any correction?
ex: Mathew Lane TiCo v1.0.9- ask for ilok in protool and crashe with several instances in Vst format
ReLab LX480 Full v3.1.0 -creates random noises and crashes protool and FL



Pd.I only do this post to inform not to criticize, also for those two tools there are millions that equal it or sound better

Not exactly timebombs but so far:
Lexicon PCM native crashes Protools 12.5
Mathew Lane TiCO asks for serial in Protools 12.5

Anyhow, I DEEPLY respect R2R for their work. It pleases me that people who have no money (and couldn't buy those softwares, so no loss to companies) can have acces to the goodies and have EQUAL chance to making great music. They all are potential buyers.

 

ReLab LX480 Complete v3.1.0 working fine in reaper and ableton

 

this is more a operator pc error and not the plugs or a mac user

 

of course if you don't try them yourself you can say those things

Can't confirm since I haven't unzipped them yet but will let you know if I have any issues once I do in 2022.

 

Sound more like a Pro Tools or AAX issue, as the VST works great for those plugs you mentioned in Cubase

 

Your title is misleading, you are not describing "time bombs"
It seems a protools specific problem, and in your case to studio.
Also you only mention some plugins so it not the whole wave as your title suggest.

So you should not describe it as a general problem. I'm changing the title.

It’s not a problem of PT, there is a problem in the Relab 480 release (in the matthew i don’t know)
I tested in ableton, Cubase 11 and Reason 10 and dont work.
Also in release page’s comments there is a lot of people with the same problem.
Maybe is a problem of the release on win 10.

Ps: on my system i didn’t have any previous release.

 

Also i forgot, to say that the Relab release dont show up in the Daw, Cubase give me the following error: “the 32 bit plugin are not supported”.
I don’t know if is a problem of compatibility or something else.

 

Confirm - Mathew Lane TiCo v1.0.9 not working in PT 12.3.1 too - "No License found"!

Personally the only problems I have encountered are UVI Sparkverb and Lexicon PCM reverbs in Pro Tools, where AAX is invalid and crashes the system. For the rest everything is perfect.

 

Did you test with the AudioUtopia Pro Tools 12.5.0.395 release? It says in the NFO AAX Modified Pro Tools is required.

 

You need to remove the link to the sister site, they aren’t allowed. Just saying before someone else tells you.

Ok , so changed title to
Problems with some recent releases

Any way, it would be much better to separate threads by each release, or at least by DAW.

 

I use PT 12.5 and Lexicon crashes it flat out. Tico 1.1.0 works fine. Relab works but I too feel like there is something missing or off about it.

 

from my experience, if the aax is cracked its always a little bonus, i dont expect it to be tested like the vst2 vst3 dlls
