Hi everyone

I've installed the R2R Reason 12 and the waifu thingy. No matter what I've tried I can't get the cert imported. Tried launching the cert manager and importing it that way and also just right clicking.

The other issue is that a lot of the Reason devices on the sister site won't work with the cache builder. Some do, but most don't. I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.

Any help would be really, really appreciated.

Which version of cache builder do you use ? Latest version is 1.1.0.

 

What do you mean by "cert" ?

I have only run into issues with two rack extensions so far. Red Queen 10 Band EQ & Strontium-90.

 

Hi. I have also a few problem, even if most Extensions work.

Are you sure you put the RackExtensions and the .R2RRECACHE files in the right direction?

Copy any RackExtension folders to
"%APPDATA%\Propellerhead Software\RackExtensions\"

Copy *.R2RRECACHE file to
"%APPDATA%\Propellerhead Software\R2RRECACHE\"

be sure you only put the folders with names like "com.companyname.pluginname.1.x.x" into the RackExtensions folder (without the cache files ofc and the cachefiles must be placed without any folder into the R2RRECACHE folder.

Before you run "RECacheBuilder 1.1.0", delete the r2r_reasonre.cache file in the RackExtensions folder and be sure you have full write rights for both RackExtensions and R2RRECACHE folders.

Fore me not working:
Lab One Recordings Red Queen - Error something like couldn't be loaded or has stopped working and reason waits for user input

DNA Labs Glacius, DNA Labs Helium, DNA Labs Hydronexius - are visible in Reason but don't work, you can drag them into Reason, there's for a ms a loading indicator, but they won't load.

 

Tried that. Same resulting message:

Failed reading Rack Extension data in

co.uk.labonerecordings.RedQueenEQ

This Rack Extension is broken and will not be available in this session.​

Strontium-90 gives no indication of an error. Just does not show as an available RE.

 

and how's it with the three DNA Synths on your side? Do they work how they should or you don't have them installed?

edit: I forgot to mention, Strontium-90 works on my side

strange, strontium-90 works fine on my side. reason 11 r2r, win7. but redqueen & the 3 dna synths are broken, also

 

I don't use the DNA products.

No, I did not. Gave up on Reason for now. Too many limitations in workflow. Examples:
mixer adjustments using mouse are not fine controllable, browser, not able to use all outputs of VST instruments with more than 8 - 10 outputs without intricate routing, no auto-aasignment for VSTi outputs, no native VST3 support.
