Hello fellow Kontakters and Kontakt masters and gurus!
Here's my problem. I have an old library that i use a lot, EWQL platinum symphony orchestra + XP.
I was using it with no problems until I had to clean slate and reinstall Kontakt and all my libraries.
When installing these libraries, I first install Kompakt, authorize the libraries, verify that Kompakt loads instruments cleanly and then I add them to Kontakt libraries. It used to work just fine, but now I get this:
(see pic.). The libraries were properly authorized, are working perfectly with Kompakt, but with Kontakt I allways get that msg...remember it used to work fine before, same library...any ideas anyone?

You need to instal Kontakt 4 to run this lib.

 

Which Kontakt are you using? R2R 5.5.0 is the best to use with it.

Btw I can see you are using my wallpaper for it

 

I had problems with EWQL SO in every Kontakt 5 version so far ("not properly activated"). So I keep Kontakt 4 beside, only to run EWQL.
This is safe, because it will always work for sure. EVEN if it would work with some K5 release, it can stop working in the next update.
Same problem with Storm Drum.

I'm using V-5.5.2.880...I have learned so much from past mistakes that I feel the urge to uninstall Kontakt and everything and start from scratch...
So you think I should get 5.5.0...

I got that library from "russia with love, so to speak" and if you catch my drift...

 

With 5.5.0 it will work by simply doing ADD LIBRARY

Well, I deleted my Kontakt and all the registry files and installed the 5.5.0., reinstalled Kompakt and libraries and still the same problem...it is my guess that some traces of the old instalation still linger somewhere...

 

Perhaps try to also install the latest Service Center, just install it, don't have to run t

 

Install NI service center and hopefully your problem will be resolved.

 

Is it the same for the legit copy of Kontakt or do I have to look for it elsewhwere?

 

I think the legit one. Install it and no need to do anything else. Let us know if it solves your problem.

 

Hi fellas...ok let's see...IT WORKED and then not...let me explain...I managed to add two libraries (Brass and Perc) with success, instruments work just fine, but the other two, (woods and Strings) Kontakt just doesn't add them...if I try like 3 times it will say they're allready within the content tab, except they're not...I cleaned everything and reinstalled Kontakt to no avail...Help me guys, pls...

 

Ok..I manage to make it work by unistalling and installing the libraries again...no big deal there, thanks to all who contributed, indeed the service center update worked like a gem, including allowing me to install the cinebrass libraries flawlessly...thank you mates, this is one cool site...all the best to all
