when ever im installing serum and running it in abelton or Logic it asks for my serial when i add one rom a keygen it wont let me press the ok button. When it works and if i can press on it after 5 minutes its asks for it again. Does someone has a solution to this issue?

 

Only solution is really to buy it if you absolutely need it. Is this a legit copy you purchased?

 

Are you on pc or mac?
The version ollymoon posted had a specific fix for all those suffering from the same\similar issue.
Ill have a look at the install folder and tell you what you can try n doo....

I do remember that you have to copy over the "user.dat" file with the Fix file...
Or just d.l Olly's release

thanks for replying i forgot to mention in on mac. Will this solution work there?

 

On Mac there is no solution. Your only option is to buy it. You also can get it on splice for $9.99 a month.
If you ask me, that's a fair deal if you really want it. Otherwise you could wait until somewhen someone decides to do a mac release.

Idve thought any new mac release would do the trick, im gonna have to check if ive a mac version on my spare hdd with all my plugin installs, if so, ill throw it over to you..

Sorry i dont follow mac releases and usually delete the included mac install for whatever ive downloaded ,but ill do some undercover work for you and see what i can mussle up to help you ok

Your best bet is to install Little Snitch/Hands Off! on your Mac and block any app to connect to connect to the internet other than your browser and any other app that you need and set it to Block Every Connection without asking for confirmation.
I'm doing this here and hasn't have any issue at all.

 

Ive heared people about the olly release but cant seem to find it (or im not sure there to look for). I have a mac version wich works but lets say after 5 minutes its asks for the serial wich is a pain in the ass. I dont use serum that much but i have some sounds i want use which are serum presets.

Oh , and for Fucks sake dont use it, or program online!!
I cannot stress that enuff!!

even when you change the firewall rules to block inbound n outbound, theres still glitches n lil bugs that inevitably fuck your end up...

I actually use a dektop pc with no wifi as my Daw pc, and just an ethernet connexion that remains unplugged unless i need an update or summat similar....

when i go online i use one of 3 laptops ive aquired over the last 7 years.....
Never Never Ever my desktop Daw system

Never use your Precious Daw pc to go online or goto facebook, browse,download stuff etc....
Always Always use a secondary laptop for that stuff ..........

I dont care what anyone says if they contradict me, coz theyre wrong n their brains are wired differently to the logistics of it all and just dont realise it!!!

Im fuckn 10 steps ahead always "Im gettin old ya see... 43 in april, n a full on Tech Head...................

As a precaution il download a few earlier releases for Ya , from a site not many know of , just in case you get the same issue...

The warnings and misfortunes of going online while possessing a fortunate gift. You literally are the epitome of jynx.

 

There is no crack that works 100% on recent Serum versions (on macos) and you won't solve the problem using little snitch

These are your options:
- rollback your serum to an old cracked release (and none of the new presets will work)
- Keep the latest release and fight with serial number issue
- Buy Serum legally
- Use a different synth

 

I got 1.276 Working on my Hackbook (Logic 10.2.4, Little snitch )

But go similar problems in the beginning after every start I had to give in the serial
But after the X- time it just stuck and the serial worked without a problem .( so don't give up )
It felt a bit like a rusty gear on a car.
