Hi !

Since yesterday I'm facing a problem with Rapidshare, when I open a link, the page load, and then it opens Rapidshare home page instead of the download page !

BUT it only happens with Safari, no probs with Firefox !

Someone knows where is the problem and how to fix it ?

Yep "Use Firefox" but I don't like it much ! I prefer Safari ! If I can fix it, it would be great ! If there's no hope, of course I will use it

 

I tried for you to d/l 'Linplug CronoX 3 v3.6.5 AU VST Mac OSX' from Rapid.
No problem here with Safari and Rapid, d/l at 986... almost 1MB!!!

I tried with Safari just for you, but I no longer use Safari and Firefox. I discovered a wonderful soft named Camino and I'm so happy with it on my old 10.4.11 and new system. Try it, I'm sure you will be surprised.

Computer classes should be required anymore. Just knowing the basics of how a computer works would have led you to the answer quicker than posting the question.

My point is if it doesn't work in Safari move on. That was the answer in your own question being reffered to.

Safari has a lot of issues with a lot of things. I understand its preference but I'm pretty sure no one is too worried about safari not working with RS. Your best bet is to simply paste the dl url's in IE or whatever else and just use it for the download. You don't need to ditch safari if you don't want to but if it wont work find a work around instead of a fix that probably doesn't exist.

We all have to do things like this for one reason or another.

Btw, Chrome is great, works fast and displays/views everything correctly. It also has some decent plugin's [not as good as firefox plugins] but decent never the less.

Also on the Rapidshare thing being as Safari is glitchy with some things I wouldn't trust it to download from RS free accounts since they do that thing where they stop the traffic and hold it at 30kbps, some browsers don't work well with this.
