I'm probably stupid with this...

When I hit a key on my keyboard OB-X keeps playing this tone forever. There are these red lights on the upper left (6 top, 6 bottom) that indicate which voices are active. When I hit a key the red light stays on forever, the sound plays endlessly - same with all presets. I'm using the same presets as the "guys in the videos" and therefor know it's not supposed to be like that. Normal should be that the voices are active as long as I press the keys - like with any other vst instrument I'm using. But instead of turning off when releasing the keys the lights stay on and the sound keeps playing...only switching the preset stops the sound.

What ver are you running? Also what DAW does this occur in or are you using a standalone instance? Seems the v1.3.0 had some instances with various DAW's and stuck notes etc... Upgrading to a next higher version seemed alleviate the problem. Not sure if it applies in your case.

 

I've just installed the latest version by R2R from sister site v1.3.1 and I'm running it in Reason on Win11. Wanted to play around with these nice FAMOUS presets from 80s hits

 

Did the later version fix your issue? Or possible the Chord mode being set as No Av suggested?

 

This version 1.3.1 doesn't have keys in the GUI. There's a "Mode" knob and a "Chord / Speed" knob - but non of them helps with my endloss tone problem.

 

I had this version - 1.3.1 - installed from the beginning, so no changes.

 

I still can't get it solved - do you have any further ideas saccamano?

 

Would you please be so kind to explain?
