Basically, I'm trying to install some nexus expansions but whenever I download them and unzip they are converted to pianoteq 6 files and not .nxp files. Is there a way to alter the way zip files are converted without deleting pianoteq?

 

It appears your default file association for .nxp is set incorrectly. Here's a link to show you how to modify to your taste (windows):

The nxp files aren't showing up in my file type association list! but the files with nexus expansions now have my files listed under .fxp. I'm unsure how to change them into .nxp files... your link helped a bit but I'm still lost...

 

Well, you've lost me too now, 'cos .fxb files relate to cubase vst presets and not to nexus.
I've not gone near nexus for at least 5 years, so really can't help you beyond suggesting you ask for help on reFX's support page.
