Hi, I recently installed cracked version of FL Studio 20.8.3 on my M1 Mac and started it through rosetta.
Everything worked fine, even all the cracked plugins worked perfectly. But after restarting the program and clicking on scan plugins, every single plugin I installed disappeared. I looked up in the Library/Audio/Plugins folder: gone. 2 hours of work gone. They are not even in the recycle bin. I hope someone can help me, thanks

BTW I am using the latest OS Monterey

your plugins should be installed into these:

    /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
    /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST
    /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3

sorry I typed the directory wrong, I corrected it. The problem was not the directory.

Do you mean that after rescan all the plugins were gone(also from folder)?

yes, I tried it again, now I didnt even need to rescan. A simple restart of fl removed them too. I tried it with legit fl studio too.

BTW it's a very strange behaviour, did you try the latest fl version(i think 2.9)? Sometimes updates can fix some issues. But I've never seen anyone complaining about such an issue.

    Maybe try codesigning/de-quarentine plugins.

    yes,
Is it possible that macos removes cracked plugins?

Not automatically, If plugins are from unknown sources macos asks you to move them to bin. Codesign/de-quarentine can fix this, But they never get deleted automatically.

Alright thanks. I fixed it, it was my fault. clicked on replace and not on merge by copying the vsts. By pressing replace it copies the files and removes everything else in there.

I never merged any patch, always replaced them and they never affected other files.:dunno:

You have to be super careful with Finder on MacOS. Copying a folder over an existing folder with the same name would merge by default under Windows but MacOS lets you erase all existing files under that folder which is total bs IMHO. In 99% of the cases you don't want that and even asking for it opens the risk for accidentally clicking on the wrong button if you're too fast to confirm.

I wish that there was a tool where you can remove the replace button because I would never click on it.

Yup it's true with folders, but with files like patches it's fine(at least for me:unsure:).
