I'm having problem with this plugin. I do not see the graphics. Just the black box. The same thing happens to me with the new "Reference" plugin. I just downloaded the demo. And I do not see the graphics. The audio waveform, nor the controls. Any ideas? Thank you!

LEVELS uses your computers graphics card as much as possible to avoid using the CPU. To this end LEVELS requires OpenGL 3.2 compatible graphics card drivers (OpenGL 3.2 was introduced in 2009), please check your graphics card manufacturer for the latest drivers.

Unfortunately if your PC laptop has an Intel HD3000 integrated graphics chip or below then LEVELS will not work. That being said, many laptops have two graphics processors, an integrated one with the CPU and a separate Nvidia or AMD graphics card. If you just see a black screen for the plugin then most likely you will need to tell your PC to use the AMD or Nvidia card for your DAW application (e.g. Ableton).

BTW that is a pointless plugin in my opinion. All it is is a spectrogram, stereo width, and waveform visualizer bundled into one product with a pretty interface thrown on top of it. Nothing really groundbreaking there.

 

Fuck OpenGL its very idiot and limited they should have developped an alternative to bypass that...
