    Hi Audiosex,

i have a question. If i open Fl studio 12 X64 in Ableton Live 9.2 x64 and use a Virtual MIDI driver, i can use Fl pianoroll to trigger a synth in Ableton. But the problem is that i can't use the shortkey's anymore. For example Ctrl+D doesn't work, and the Delete butten doesn't. If i open the menu and do it with the mouse it works but the short keys don't work. I have made a Video to explaine. I really need help, maybe i have overlooked something.
    Thanks in advance!

I think its because fl is been used as a backround program when use as a rewright,
so live would have priority over fl, the shortcuts should still work in live as its the master,
this can happen as well with some plugins in fl best fix is just use your mouse,

can i ask ya why your using fl as a rewright ?
if its over the loop stuff working better in live
you should get a old plugin called FXpansion - Guru
it can layer sounds /copy midi from loops and synchronous loops
that can then be dragged and dropped into fl.
the new version is called Geist but its to big on the screen,
i havnt seen a vid yet that shows you how to fully use Guru in fl
but there are a few around that will start you off hope it helps,

    THANKS MOMO,
I just want to use Fl pianoroll because of the extra chord, strum, slice and other options to fill/edit the midi roll. I always liked Fl studio pianoroll ( i start music making in Fl studio 3.0 yeas ago). I think i have to use the mouse if i want to :-(

Yeah, this is how they built it.

They say they lost something in the coding process.

edit: Though ReWire is not usually worth the Hassle, just to let you know they may work better via ReWire

I have tested fl studio 10 and it won't work neither. But in Fl studio 12 i can with ctrl + mouse select and with shift + mouse i can duplicat.. only delete quick can't, that must done by mouse, so that will be the workflow then :-(
