I do not find any installer in any of the 8 dvds

 

really had to make a new topic? there are like 10 others this week, about omnisphere whatever it is...

Did u do all steps from setup guide including library and soundsource updates?

 

Well, depending on where you downloaded it from, there should be 4 included folders. In one of them, called "Step 1 - Installer" should be what you're looking for.

 

Software and Library Installation:
----------------------------------

1. Unpack
2. Use the "Step 1" software installer to install the software
3. Use the "Step 2" data updater to install the data from the DVDs
4. Optionally use "Step 3" and "Step 4" installers if you want to use the
Trillian or the Moog libraries.

 

Most people are saying to get the PROPER DVDs and follow the NFO steps:

The steps seemed to have worked for most of us unless there was something wrong with the downloaded files. Doesn't the setup ask you (Windows users) where to create the STEAM folder? It did on my MAC. I chose an external drive. (Only issue there is that all of the sounds weren't installed correctly. Currently doing that manually dude to error code -36.)

And, as read in another post, you may have missed the installer RAR in the first DVD. There were two packages to unpack, 1 big & 1 small.

 

The setup in DVD1 calls out for the other DVDs, just mount them to a virtual drive using windows explorer and press okay when it asks you to insert disk "x", also renaming the disk 2-8 to Omnisphere B - H is a good idea.

Everything works perfectly for me, I downloaded the files from the original links (not the "proper" proper ones) except for disk 1 "proper" and the R2R patch (No offense to DYNAMIC, I just prefer R2R when its available).

I honestly dont understand how so many people are having issues with this.

 

depending on where you got the 1st dvd from, you may or may not have the installers with it

you should have 4 folders named, follow each one in order

Step 1 installer
Step 2 updater
Step 3 for trilian users (only required if you use trilian)
Step 4 for Moog tribute users (only required if you use moog tribute)

do you have these folders?
