I have this track, pretty much an enigma since i do electronic and hiphop, i like to spin it sometimes so i hope some of the more oldschool peps would dig it too!

Basically i am watching the Chromeo Twitch track breakdown and i´m kinda..hey...

Mosty free plugs used on a masterbuss(if anyone asks)


I used SF2 files via shortcircut1 plugin and the synth lead is from a free Odsay vst Elelktrostudio i think

This isn't 80's sounding to me. It's more like the house music from late 90's to early 2000's. The drums to me sound like something from Boris Dlugosch, Armand Van Helden, Kerri Chandler or Olav Basoski. It's nice and clean, but I think it could be too "bright", for me anyway. There is a little conga percussion loop in there, but it isn't doing anything. I'd probably make it louder, or get rid of it. Little detail stuff, it sounds good.

 

I did wanted to be on the edge of how bright i can make it, it definetely is tho. The conga is just routed to the same valhalla reverb, i´ll se what can i do
