    Hello guys,
I am having problem to install the protools, let see if you can help me.
I have downloaded some versions of Pro Tools 10, and I had that problem that " pro tools can't be installed because needs a higher OS ( I am on Mac Sierra ). I made the changes for not checking the Mac version and I could install with no problem. But after install when I open protools, the software keeps asking me to plug my Ilok, but I am not using external Ilok. I have downloaded the Protools 10.3.9 here in audioZ.
Do you know how can I solve this? People need Ilok on cracked version? Can you guys use protools on Mac Sierra?

PT 10.3.10 Openssh is the latest and most stable version. If I'm not wrong, 10.3.9 has the bug of using the "cmd+f" for fader automation command, which causes PT to look for an iLok. Anyhow, PT 10.3.x has been developed and tested for Mountain Lion. I can positively confirm that it works on Mavericks without a hiccup, but it is not Sierra compatible. It might work or not, but you won't find support. Here's Pro Tools Compatibility Chart.

If you are on Sierra you will have to jump through some hoops to swap out any protected lib files, even if you have admin access. The easiest thing is to boot from a different startup disk to tinker with your primary startup drive - that way you can override permissions if you're booted with admin privileges.

Maybe you can run Mavericks or ML in VMware or Virtualbox on your Sierra? Not ideal, but if it works..
And when you're going Virtual, why not do Windows PT12 on Bootcamp?

I think the best solution is to create another partition and install mavericks in it. and install pro tools on the new partition.
