Cool. It looks pretty much like I expected it to... (Something along the Logic Pro X route... And a touch of Cubase).

 

I hope, they make the GUI changeable. I liked the light grey one very much. These dark Cubase and Logic stuff is triggering my depressive traits…
Nontheless, I will buy it this time. Studio one is the first absolutely adorable DAW for me, and it made my live better and more relaxed, sad but true!! I'm doing this since 17 years by now.

Interesting. If they would have released this before Cubase Pro 8 They could have potentially gained many customers. Instead though, I believe they lost many of them potential customers. I'm quite glad I paid for Cubase 8 now. There is still many things it could learn for Studio One though!

Rick Naqvi posted a photo of a new hardware unit on FB from the Musikmesse, a guys asked if he/presonus will presenting Studio One 3 but he skipped the question answering to another guy about the hardware prince. Guys i'm start thinking that Studio One is not ready, probably will be release on "late summer"

yeah of course. Not released but atleast a presentation or sneak preview or an announcement: something. We have those screenshoots of V3 only because it's related to the new hardware unit.

 

One of the reasons I kinda liked Studio One, was the lighter colour ... this dark version is not what I expected ; hopefully there will be some "skinning" options...

Judging from the screen (may be wrong) they add post insert on channels. I'm referring to the third and fourth screens. The post insert on the master has a black band. Look at the master and the nearest channels.
