the release 3.2.1 seems to have a serious bug with quantize..
when you quantize the velocities will all be reset to one value or previous..

Same here..also when I draw and move notes. They really don't snap properly.

Its a known bug, I've already informed the dev team.

yeah v3.2 working properly..
but if you want downgrade i suggest to uninstall and clean all about presonus..
don't forget to save your customized..

WOW! Thanks for pointing that out. Just upgraded today so hadn't had a chance to see that yet. Big problem! I guess I have to downgrade back to 3.2... Hope this is a quick fix..

 

I'm sure they will move promptly to correct this!

 

Midi and audio. The audio bend option seems to work ok. It has a tendency not to snap properly when slicing the audio.

 

Guys I got a different bug with 3.2.1 version. Watch the right dot when using bracket tool

 

Did you post this on the Presonus Forums so they can take a look at it and fix it?

really strange..i dont have this bug.

but if you sse he return to 0 (cero) from -10 db to cero.
you have some automatation on volumen or fader (vca bus etc.)??? sometimes when you have automatation reset to position when de auto starts.
but it sreally strange, like i says i dont have this bug, an i do alot of automatations, a lot....

with quantize itd a shame......

 

No, no additional automation anywere, it's just a track in an empty project... It's the same with every envelope for anything, for example if I have a channel panned all the way to the right, and if I turn up pan automation, the line will normally be all the way up (because it's panned to the right on the channel) and if I use bracket tool, right dot get reset to the middle, right dot always get reset to the default value here, no mater what

 

how realistic is it to expect a release from Presonus just dealing with the huge new bugs?? The quantize bug is ridiculous. Are we going to have to wait until a new "brand new features" type release just to have this fixed?? or does it seem that they would release a version just dealing with bugs. I am a past Sonar user newly switched to S1 in January so I'm not sure of their history with version releases. Sonar used to release versions sometimes with NO new features, just bug fixes. Not sure if Presonus does this. I am very happy with the switch to S1 so for now I'm fine with the rollback to 3.2.. but was just curious for those who have been using S1 for a while-what i should expect..as this is the first big bug to affect my workflow. thanks

 

Audio quantize often crashes my S1 3.2.1 on Win7/64. Maximum audio buffer helps a bit but doesn't eliminate problem.

 

Hello Folks, i have solution. It's simple
Click on MIDI Track to Open Midi editor - Activate Q on opened window - Set Velocity fader to "0" zero. You'll thank me later ;)
