PreSonus Firewire Interfaces on Linux //How ... ?

    Well, Well ...

    Anyone here succeeded with PreSonus FireWire (specifically FIRESTUDIO project) Interfaces on Linux-platform ?

    During last night I had no success myself ...

    I've tried KXStudio and Ubuntu Studio latest 64bit versions ;

    I've tried two different FireWire "cards" ... first one a Asus P5Q-mobo based integrated FireWire port and a DeLock PCIEXpress card as the second option ?

    Don't know about the chipsets of these "cards" ;

    Right on with KXStudio running FFADO Mixer I get this, "21:39:10 logginghandler: Could not communicate with the FFADO DBus service..."
