As you can see in the title let's use this area for presets, setups etc. sharing. I'm ready to share some of my presets, setups, mixer settings (Cubase, Fl Studio etc.) if people are willing to do the same. As you can see in threads below

Unfortunately keytar jeff doesn't share their amp presets freely.

Why not lead by example and share the first Preset?

I'm thinking of moving this thread to: Working with Sound Subforum as it better suits it's use or if it starts to take off, i will ask Saint for an Preset Sub-forum

great idea, but members really need to create their own presets/patches/templates and also describe settings for each, this will help other members to get to grips with their software

It is a Cubase mixer preset, it was created with Cubase 5.1, you can use it only for the first channel, because i made the preset on first channel

 

I explained shortly in my message (bass preset)

You can load it directly to the DAW (Cubase) the preset that i shared and if you have all plug-ins that preset required it will work without any problem

We don't have to explain settings for mixer presets. Because users can already see its (effects) settings when they open it inside their DAWs.

If anyone has problems about preset, patch etc. we can discuss it here and we try to solve the problem.

Both of them, if you wish you can even share your custom Kontakt (single or multi) patches. This thread's aim is to help each other completely. If you need a special preset you can request, i'll try to help but (i'll request too) you should also share your presets too.

You have half (or 50 %) of the answer in the Title of that 'YouTube' Video : "Keytar Jeff Demos Musiclab Les Paul Custom"



The other half (or 50 %) are the own Settings done by 'Keytar Jeff', in case that I modified the Sound of the Plugin in some way (either by editing it, or by adding some additional Effects,... ).

Not so complicate, I think, isn't ? *yes*

 

Zebra 2.5 Preset

I started getting into cinematic sound design lately with Zebra. I still have no clue what the heck I'm doing for the most part but I created this preset which I think is pretty cool so I'll share it :D.

It is very much a horror FX. It sounds like a swarm of distorted insects is coming closer as you move the modwheel up. Be careful, the insects get loud when the modwheel is all the way up
For heavier nasty effect, press several two or three keys that are next to each other (so D, D#, E for example)

PS: I would like the modwheel to also slightly push the pitch up. Anyone know how to do that in Zebra2 ? (I don't want to pitch the oscillators but the pitch of the patch as a whole. Messing with the pitch of the oscillators changes the sound too much, I tried)

For this, set the 'Modwheel' as 'Modulation Source', and the 'Pitch' and/or 'Detune' (but with small Values) as 'Modulation Target'...

 

This is a great initiative and I applaud it but you're quickly going to run into some organizational problems. My suggestion for now is to open threads geared towards presets for specific things. This way when we create a forum for user generated content such as this we can move all those articles right in there. Just lumping it all together will make it a mess. *yes*

 

Ok yeah i know there are some key switches and settings in the program, can i get same result with any lead preset by modifying only plug-in and applying some playing styles (with articulations, key switches)

But although you can share your own custom guitar setups, it may be guitar amp preset or a mixer preset with other effects too.

You're right but there should be a section and sub categories (presets for specific things) on the forum for that.
